The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Arizona State University (ASU) is a transformative initiative aimed at training 160 young African professionals at the master’s level over five years (2025–2030). This program offers a fully funded ASU Online degree, complemented by in-person support and wrap-around services provided through Kepler College in Rwanda. By combining the flexibility of online education with personalized mentorship, leadership development, and a strong support network, the scholarship ensures that scholars receive a well-rounded and immersive learning experience tailored to their academic and professional growth.
For the 2025/2026 academic year, 40 scholarships will be awarded, covering full tuition fees, accommodation, and additional expenses for the two-year graduate program. Scholars will also participate in a two-month summer intensive experience in the United States at ASU, aligning with their field of study. Beyond financial and academic support, the program encourages community impact and leadership development, equipping scholars with the skills to drive social and economic progress in Africa. Eligibility Requirements
