AAUW International Fellowships 2025–2026 Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the AAUW International Fellowships 2025–2026, you must:

  • Identify as a woman
  • Be a non-U.S. citizen or non-permanent resident
  • Hold a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree (minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0)
  • Be enrolled or admitted into a full-time master’s or doctoral program by the application deadline
  • Begin your program on or before September 1, 2026, and finish on or after April 30, 2027
  • Plan to study in the United States at an accredited institution
  • Reside in the U.S. (or in your research country) during the fellowship year

Not Eligible:

  • U.S. citizens or permanent residents
  • AAUW employees, board members, review panelists, or their immediate family
  • Previous recipients of this AAUW fellowship (except Community Action Grants)
