AfricaCDC Youth Digital Health Champions (Y-DHC) Program 2025 Details
The AfricaCDC Youth Digital Health Champions (Y-DHC) Program 2025 is giving young innovators, researchers, and advocates across Africa and the diaspora a platform to showcase and scale their digital health initiatives on a continental stage.
This initiative, hosted by the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) through the Youth in Digital Health Network (YiDHN), highlights youth-led solutions that are driving transformation in healthcare systems across Africa. Designed as a virtual, pan-African program, it ensures equal participation from youth in all 55 AU Member States and the diaspora, while also creating pathways for select champions to engage in in-person Africa CDC events such as the Africa HealthTech Summit 2025.
Selected champions will not only gain visibility and recognition but also access to mentorship, policy dialogues, and capacity-building opportunities. Outstanding participants will have the chance to connect directly with health leaders, policymakers, and innovation partners on both virtual and physical platforms.
