This scholarship is designed to promote educational and cultural exchange by supporting students from:

Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2026/2027 Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality: Citizens of eligible countries only. Citizens or former citizens of Azerbaijan are not eligible.
- Age limits as of 15 September 2026:
- Undergraduate/General Medicine: Under 35 years
- Graduate/Medical Residency: Under 40 years
- Doctoral: Under 45 years
- Academic Performance: Previous GPA must be at least 70/100 or equivalent.
- Language Proficiency:
- English programs: IELTS 5 (UG) or 5.5 (PG); or TOEFL 40/50
- Other languages: Proof of proficiency or prior study in that language

Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- Full tuition coverage, including preparatory language training
- Annual international flight tickets (to and from Azerbaijan)
- Monthly stipend of 800 AZN (~$470) for living, accommodation, and study materials (10 months per year)
- Medical insurance allowance of 200 AZN (~$117) per year
- Single-entry visa and residence permit

Stage 1: Nomination by Home Country Authorities
- Submit all required documents to your country’s Ministry, Embassy, or designated authority
