ECOWAS Youth Employability 2025 Training Details
The ECOWAS Youth Employability Project (ECOWAS YEP) Training, is giving young Nigerians a chance to build practical skills in agriculture and agribusiness.
This program is part of the ECOWAS Strategy on Youth Employability, implemented by the Association of Organic Agriculture Practitioners of Nigeria (NOAN). It focuses on transforming Nigeria’s agri-food value chains by unlocking youth potential for shared growth and prosperity.
Participants will gain skills in organic farming, compost and pesticide production, business planning, cooperative building, and value chain development for crops like vegetables, yams, sesame, and ginger.
Training will take place both online and onsite in Ibadan, Umudike, and Zaria.
Note: This is not an annual program, so if you’re aged 18 to 35 and ready to start or grow a career in agriculture, this might be your only shot.

ECOWAS Youth Employability 2025 Training Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the ECOWAS Youth Employability Project Training, you must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have a strong interest in agriculture, especially in the Agro Sylvo Pastoral Heuristics ASPH sector
- Be willing to commit to both online and onsite training
- Be passionate about creating impact in agri-food value chains, regardless of your gender.
