  • Must be a Nigerian citizen (permanent residents are not eligible)
  • Between 20 and 30 years of age by the mission start date
  • Completed secondary education in Nigeria
  • Completed at least four (4) years of university studies at application time
  • Native English speaker
  • Minimum B1 level French proficiency (official certificate like DELF/DALF required)
  • Experience in teaching or volunteering in educational projects is an advantage
  • Preferably single (due to stipend limitations)
  • Must demonstrate proof of sufficient funds for travel and first month’s expenses before visa issuance
  • Must choose one of the ten Alliances Françaises or the Institut Français du Nigeria as evaluator during application (mandatory procedure)
