• Bachelor’s students who have already completed at least 1 academic year at any higher education institution (HEI)
• Master’s or PhD students from any previous HEI.
• An applicant must choose a study program at a Latvian HEI before applying for a scholarship
• An applicant must receive the confirmation letter for the chosen study program from the Latvian HEI before applying for a scholarship
• An applicant, who is already studying at a Latvian HEI should also receive the confirmation letter for the present or chosen study programme before the application for a scholarship
• The confirmation letter for the chosen study program from a Latvian HEI needs to be provided by the designated contact person.
• The international student can receive a Latvian state scholarship for a maximum of two terms during their studies.
