London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) 2026-2027 GSK Scholarships for Future Health Leaders Details

This program is a scholarship offered to support the next generation of leaders in global health. It is funded to help build strong health systems and health-related research capacity in Africa.

The scholarship is for a one-year, full-time MSc programme based in London. Study is face-to-face at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

Three scholarships are available for the 2026-27 academic year. The awards are for students admitted to LSHTM’s London-based intensive MSc programmes, excluding certain joint programmes.

Eligibility Requirements for the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) 2026-2027 GSK Scholarships for Future Health Leaders

• Must be a national of, and resident in, a country in sub-Saharan Africa
• Must intend to return to sub-Saharan Africa after completing the MSc
• Must confirm that you cannot pay for the programme without this funding by applying through the online scholarship portal
• Must meet LSHTM’s minimum English language requirements by Monday 15 June 2026
• Must hold a first degree at first class or upper second class level (or equivalent)
• Must hold an offer of admission for 2026-27 for a London-based intensive MSc programme at LSHTM
• Preference is given to applicants who show potential to contribute to public health or health-related research in Africa
