Mastercard Foundation Graduate Internship Program 2026 Details
The Mastercard Foundation Graduate Internship Program 2026 is more than just work experience, it is a career-launching platform for young African graduates. The program is designed for recent university graduates who are eager to gain practical skills and contribute to meaningful projects that drive social and economic impact across Africa.
The internship runs for 11 months and provides mentorship, professional development, and exposure to real projects within the Foundation. Interns will be placed in various departments such as Finance, Programs, People and Culture, Legal and Compliance, Impact and Research, Public Affairs, and Digital Technology. It is hosted in seven African countries:
- Ethiopia,
- Ghana,
- Kenya,
- Nigeria,
- Rwanda,
- Senegal and
- Uganda.
Selected graduates will receive a monthly stipend to support their living expenses, along with access to e-learning resources and career development programs. They will also benefit from guidance from experienced professionals and the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.

Eligibility Requirements for the Mastercard Foundation Graduate Internship Program 2026

- Have between 0 and 4 years of work experience
