2026 Nigerian Women Trust Fund (NWTF) Grant Details
The Nigerian Women Trust Fund has opened its 2026 Grant Application to support organisations working to strengthen women’s rights, leadership, and safety in Nigeria. This is the sixth edition of the grant, and it focuses on stopping gender-based violence and improving the capacity of women-led groups across all six geopolitical zones.
NWTF is a non-profit organisation that has been promoting women’s leadership and political participation since 2011. It has supported national projects such as Create Her Space, She Should Contest, Start Early, Ascend, TIGN, Our Vote Counts NG, and others. Its work focuses on closing gender gaps, creating safer spaces for women, and pushing for policies that protect women and girls.
For 2026, the grant will support projects that build strong institutions, empower women’s voices, and challenge harmful norms that allow violence against women and girls to continue.

- Promote women’s leadership, inclusion, and community impact
