Portugal Government Scholarships 2025-2026 Details
The scholarship is managed by Direção-Geral do Ensino Superior (DGES) and is aimed at helping students pursue higher education without worrying about tuition fees or living expenses. It is open to students enrolled in:
- Higher Professional Technical Courses (CTESP)

Portugal Government Scholarships 2025-2026 Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the Portugal Government Scholarships 2025-2026, you must:
- Be enrolled in a public or private higher education institution in Portugal
- Be pursuing a CTESP, Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, or Master’s program
- Be enrolled in at least 30 ECTS credits
- Not hold a diploma or degree equal to or higher than the one you’re applying for
- Have Portuguese nationality or legal residence status
- Have an annual household income of less than €11,049.89
- Have movable assets less than €115,303.20
- Be up to date with tax and social contributions
Special Conditions:
- Working students may apply with income up to €12,569.89
- Students from Syria, Afghanistan, or Ukraine under humanitarian or temporary protection can apply without minimum income limits and may be eligible for the maximum grant amount
