She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship is an initiative to support African women and girls pursuing careers or learning paths in technology. This round of the scholarship is open to all African women and girls, not just She Code Africa community members.
The community consists of over 10000 members with active members across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Rwanda, Liberia, and counting. If you’re passionate about tech but lack access to a personal laptop, this is your chance to apply.
She Code Africa is a pan-African nonprofit on a mission to bridge the gender gap in tech by equipping African girls and women with access to digital skills in technology, and fostering their economic independence

She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship, you must meet all of the following:
- Be a female applicant / identify as a girl/woman in tech.
- Be a valid member of the She Code Africa community. If you’re not yet, you’d need to join via their membership/community page.
- Follow She Code Africa on at least one of their social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
- Not already own a working laptop. The idea is to help those without access to a reliable computer.
- Be available to receive the laptop in person in Lagos, Nigeria. They don’t allow someone else to pick it up on your behalf.
