2025/2026 Bridge Scholarship for Nigerians Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for The Bridge Scholarship 2025/2026, you must:
- Be fully enrolled in a public university in Nigeria.
- Be in Year 1 up to your second-to-last year (penultimate year).
- Show critical financial need.
- Be determined to complete your Bachelor’s degree.
- Have at least a CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 3.5/5.0.
- Show integrity and resilience, especially in the face of adversity.

2025/2026 Bridge Scholarship for Nigerian Students Required Documents
To complete your application, prepare the following:
- A valid means of identification with a photo (e.g., NIN, Voter’s Card).
- University admission letter (from JAMB or your university).
- Personal statement (max 500 words) about a personal challenge that affected your education and how you handled it. Include two verifiers’ contact details.
- JAMB result – for Year 1 applicants only.
- WAEC or NECO result – for Year 1 applicants only.
- Current academic record/transcript – mandatory for all except Year 1 (optional for them).
- Medical students must include the results of all MBBS exams taken so far.
- Letter from your Head of Department, stating your academic standing – on university letterhead, signed, and stamped.
- Two recommendation letters (maximum one page each), including contact info of referees.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Proof of leadership roles (if any) – one-page document with verifiable details and contacts.
