Seplat Energy Applied Technology Training Program Details
The Seplat Energy Applied Technology Training Program (ATTP) is a City & Guilds-approved foundation training program run by Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited (SEPNU). It aims to empower young Nigerians with technical knowledge and hands-on skills to work as entry-level technicians in the oil and gas industry.
Running for about 23 months at the Seplat Technical Training Centre (TTC) in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, the program emphasizes industry-focused instruction delivered by experienced professionals. Graduates are coached to develop practical competencies and professional confidence in their chosen discipline.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a SEPNU Certificate of Completion and a City & Guilds Certificate in Applied Engineering Technology in their field of training

Eligibility Requirements for Seplat Energy Applied Technology Training Program
- Must be a Nigerian citizen
- Must have a National Diploma (ND) in one of the following disciplines:
- Chemical Engineering Technology
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Petroleum Engineering Technology
- Must have graduated with a minimum of Upper Credit, not earlier than 2023
- Applicants with higher qualifications will not be considered
- Must have a valid government-issued ID (e.g., National ID, Voter’s Card, Passport, Driver’s License)
