Australian National University ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2025 Details
The ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship is offered to high-achieving international students who want to begin studies at ANU in 2025. The scholarship is divided into nine categories, with at least one category open to students from any country.
There is no need to apply separately for the scholarship—when you apply for admission, you’ll be automatically considered based on your citizenship and academic qualifications.
If you qualify for more than one category, you’ll be considered for the highest-value scholarship first. Awards are based purely on academic merit. Every field of study is eligible aside;
- Doctor Of Medicine and Surgery (MChD)
- Master Of Military and Defence Studies

Australian National University ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- Be classified as an overseas (international) student under the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000
- Not holding a 995 visa (except for those entering eligible postgraduate programs)
- Have received an offer to study at ANU in an eligible program (excluding MChD and Master of Military and Defence Studies)
- Meet all the conditions of your chosen program, including any requirements to be in Australia for part of your studies
- Have not received this scholarship for the same level of study before
- Not be a recipient of any external sponsorship that covers tuition fees
