To apply for the European Commission Blue Book Traineeship 2026 Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: You must have completed a full 3-year university degree (equivalent to Bachelor’s level – minimum EQF 6).
- Work Experience: You must have no prior work experience exceeding 6 weeks at any EU institution, agency, delegation, or with any MEPs or Advocates General of the EUCJ.
- Languages:
- For Administrative Traineeship (EU citizens):
- One working language (English, French, or German) at C1 or C2 level.
- One additional EU language at the B2 level.
- For Non-EU nationals: Only one working language (C1 or C2 level) is required.
- For Translation Traineeship (DGT):
- Translate into your mother tongue from two EU languages:
- One must be English, French, or German at the C-level.
- Second EU language at minimum B2-level.
