British Airways Summer Internship 2026 Details

British Airways is calling on young individuals to join its Summer Internship Programme and discover what it’s like to work with a global airline. During the 10-week internship, you’ll be placed in one of the Head Office departments (business, analytics, project management, etc.). You’ll complete real business-as-usual tasks and projects, work alongside graduates and experienced staff, network across functions, and gain insight into the corporate/aviation environment.

The internship is tailored to every individual, based on your career ambitions, strengths, areas of development, and where we have exciting projects, which will help you grow in confidence, increase your employability, and develop your leadership skills. 



Eligibility Requirements for the British Airways Summer Internship 2026

To be eligible for the British Airways Summer Internship 2026, applicants must meet the following:

  • Be a university student (any discipline)
  • You will be returning to your university following your 10-week Summer Internship. 
  • Have a minimum predicted degree classification of 2:2 (or equivalent) in any subject.
  • Must hold the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the placement; visa sponsorship is not guaranteed.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, ambition, adaptability, open-mindedness, and responsibility.
