Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Fellowship Details
The Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Fellowship is a global network for emerging young professionals aged 18 to 35 years, and those over 35 years with less than one year of experience in the sector. This fellowship is highly competitive, hence, it is limited to only 25 spaces in each annual cohort.
The NGFP fellowship is designed to change the narrative for the younger generations living in under-represented geographies and communities to re-imagine the future for their communities and the world. This program supports emerging future-focused practitioners, activists and change makers with a platform to amplify their voices, a $1000 grant to develop their projects, mentorship, networking opportunities, and a cash prize to compensate the participants.
Launched in 2018 by the School of International Futures (SOIF), the Next Generation Foresight Practitioners (NGFP) program is open to individuals from all walks of life, and living in any part of the world. The NGFP fellowship are eager to receive applications from those working on the world’s most complex issues in any of these fields: Climate & Just Transitions, Democracy & Sustainable Development, Emerging Technologies, Futures Methods From Around the World & Indigenous Futures, Intergenerational Fairness, Nuclear Security, and Peacebuilding.
