OECD Young Associate Programme 2026 Details

The Young Associates Programme (YAP) is a two-year work placement for recent graduates who want to build a strong foundation in public policy, economics, social issues, or global development.

It is designed for young people who want to gain hands-on experience in multilateral policy work and later pursue postgraduate studies.

Young Associates work directly with senior OECD managers. You will be involved in research, drafting reports, attending meetings, supporting events, analysing data, and working with teams that shape global conversations.

For the 2026 to 2028 round, the OECD will place successful candidates in different directorates. Some focus areas include climate finance, health data, anti-money laundering, energy security, digital transformation, trade, agriculture, and public governance.

This programme takes place in Paris, France, and starts in September 2026.
