2026 Queensland University of Technology PhD Scholarships Details
This PhD scholarship focuses on organic mixed ionic-electronic conductors (OMIECs), a new class of materials that combine electronic and ionic conductivity. These materials are important for developing devices like biosensors, neuromorphic interfaces, and environmental monitoring systems.
The project is experimental and will be supervised by Associate Professor Soniya Yambem (Primary Supervisor), Dr Mahboobeh Shahbazi (Associate Supervisor), and Dr Wendy Purches (External Supervisor, CSIRO). Students will work closely with QUT’s Faculty of Science, School of Chemistry and Physics, Centre for Materials Science, and Bioelectronics and Biosensors Group.
