Salzburg Global Communications Internship 2026 Details

The Salzburg Global Communications Internship is a full-time program designed for young professionals who want to grow their skills in journalism, digital media, social media, storytelling, and nonprofit communications.

As a Communications Intern, you will work directly with the Salzburg Global Communications Team. You’ll help create stories, prepare reports, conduct interviews, manage digital content, and support both online and offline communication work.

This internship gives you the chance to meet and interact with global experts, leaders, and fellows who attend Salzburg Global’s programs. You won’t only learn communications; you’ll also learn about global issues, leadership, and the impact of storytelling.

Internship duration: Maximum of 3 months
Possible start dates:

Eligibility Requirements for the Salzburg Global Communications Internship 2026

To apply, you must meet these conditions:

• You have completed or are completing a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, digital marketing, or a related field.
• If your degree is not in journalism, you must show strong writing or media experience.
• You have experience producing written content or multimedia content.
• You understand global issues related to Salzburg Global’s program areas.
• You have excellent English writing and communication skills.
• You can use Microsoft Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• You have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop.
• Experience with website CMS or multimedia editing is an advantage.
• You are proactive, organized, and able to multitask.
• You enjoy working in diverse cultural and professional environments.
