University of Brescia STAR Scholarships 2026/2027 Details

The University of Brescia promotes knowledge circulation between research, production and society, to improve quality of life and well-being via justice and social, institutional, economic and environmental sustainability. In an era of rapid social and technological evolution, it attempts to cultivate a diverse, welcoming and supportive community whilst sticking to the common good approach.

The University of Brescia offers 2 four-year STAR Scholarships for the 2026/27 academic year, and the study path includes:

• 2026/27: Enrollment in the Foundation Year
• 2027/28: Enrollment in a three-year undergraduate degree taught in Italian (chosen from the approved list)

The Foundation Year Structure (600 hours)

• 240 hours of Italian language and culture
• 288 hours of subject-specific lessons (in Italian) in:
  • Economics and Law
  • Engineering and Sustainable Agricultural Systems
  • Medicine
• 72 hours of additional Italian language strengthening

Students must pass all required exams by September 2027 to proceed to the undergraduate program.

Eligibility Requirements for the University of Brescia STAR Scholarships 2026/2027

• Have citizenship and residence in a developing country or be from priority countries: Cuba, Egypt, El Salvador, Jordan, Iraq, Kenya, Lebanon, Tunisia, Palestinian Territories
• Born in 2000 or later
• Be enrolling in an Italian university for the first time
• Hold a valid secondary-school diploma that:
  • Is obtained after at least 12 years of schooling
  • Grants access to undergraduate programs in the issuing country
  • Is comparable to EQF level 4
  • Is issued within a non-EU education system
  • Is issued by an officially authorized institution
• Provide proof of Italian language proficiency at minimum A1 (CEFR)
• Not already hold an undergraduate degree
