Virginia Tech University Scholarship 2026 in USA Details
The Carey Lab at Virginia Tech is an internationally recognized research group within the Department of Biological Sciences. The lab focuses on freshwater ecosystems, especially how water quality in lakes and reservoirs is changing over time.
The selected Ph.D. student will work on a project that involves:
- Measuring, modeling, and forecasting water quality in reservoirs.
- Research in phytoplankton dynamics and carbon biogeochemistry.
- Fieldwork with graduate and undergraduate students as part of a long-term monitoring program.
