Wang Gungwu Visiting Fellowship 2026 Details
The Wang Gungwu Visiting Fellowship 2026, held in honor of Professor Wang Gungwu, the former Chairman of the Board at the ISEAS–Yusof Ishak Institute recognizes his remarkable contributions to the institute. This fully funded fellowship invites a new generation of scholars and policymakers to Singapore to explore the complex dynamics of big power relations and their impact on Southeast Asia.
The fellowship runs for a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 6 months, and is open to post-doctoral researchers and mid-career policymakers. Fellows are expected to reside at the ISEAS–Yusof Ishak Institute for the full duration of their stay. Research areas span international politics and security, regional economics, and digital technology.
Selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend, accommodation subsidy, round-trip economy airfare, and project funding (full or partial). They will also gain access to essential amenities, including IT services, the institute’s library, and a convenient office space to support their research.
