There are 4 scholarships available in 2025/26. 1 for Egypt, 1 for France, 1 for India and 1 for Kenya (Science and Technology)

The scholarship will be applied to the recipient’s tuition fees. Award recipients are obliged to inform the UCL Student Funding Office immediately of any other funding they are awarded towards their UCL Master’s degree studies, before or after the UCL-Great scholarship. The GREAT Scholarship must be used to pay your tuition fees.

2025 University College London (UCL) GREAT Scholarship UK Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the 2025 University College London (UCL) Global Master’s Scholarship, candidates must fulfill all of the following criteria:

  • Candidates MUST be passport holders and residents of Egypt, France, India, and Kenya.
  • Must have applied to study any full-time Master’s degree in any faculty at UCL in 2025/26 in order to apply for the scholarship.
  • Candidates from Kenya can apply for the GREAT Science and Technology Scholarship. You must have made an application to study a Master’s degree in one of the following faculties only: Brain Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Life Sciences, Maths and Physical Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Population Health Sciences. 
  • Please note you must hold an offer of a place on your chosen Master’s at UCL by the scholarship closing date of Thursday, 8th May 2025.
  • Distance learning and mod flex courses are not eligible.

  4. You are now on the funding page. To find out which funds you are eligible to apply for, click ‘Check and apply‘ under ‘Funds Available. ’
  5. Click on the scholarship name of the scheme that you wish to apply for.
