Edge Hill University GREAT Scholarships 2026 Details
The GREAT scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects at over 60 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Edge Hill University GREAT Scholarships 2026 Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Edge Hill University GREAT Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a GREAT target country and a passport holder of Ghana, Nigeria, or Turkey.
- Be a self-funded student
- Have made an application to study a full-time postgraduate degree at Edge Hill University for the September 2026 intake.
- Hold an offer for a full-time postgraduate degree at Edge Hill University for the September 2026 intake.
- Make sure you are a self-funded student.
- Not be a recipient of any other scholarship, including external scholarships such as Chevening, etc.
- Have an undergraduate degree equivalent to a 2:1 or higher, which will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university
- Meet the English language requirement

- Identify a postgraduate master’s degree programme offered at Edge Hill University.
- Apply for a postgraduate master’s degree programme offered at Edge Hill University.
- Once you have received your offer to study on a full-time, postgraduate programme at Edge Hill University, you can apply for the British Council GREAT Scholarship by completing the application form.
- Applications will then be considered by an awarding panel. All panel members understand that applications will have a broad range of differing skills, attributes, and experiences, and shortlisted applications may be asked to attend a video interview with the selection committee.
- Final award recipients and reserve candidates will be decided by the panel and contacted no later than 1 June 2026.
