The LLM in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa (HRDA) is a prestigious one-year master’s programme that brings together 25–30 committed individuals from different African countries to learn about human rights and democracy in a hands-on, practical way.
The course is unique in Africa and takes place over one academic year (January to December). Students spend the first six months at the University of Pretoria in South Africa and the next six months at one of 12 partner universities across Africa.
