Lake Chad Climate Justice Youth Fellowship Details
The Lake Chad Climate Justice Youth Fellowship is a transformative initiative launched to strengthen the adventurous spirit and leadership potential of young Africans. This fellowship is aimed to support young climate advocates from across the Lake Chad region, Chad, Nigeria, Cameroon, and Niger, who are committed to providing innovative solutions to the challenges facing Africa’s climate.
The Lake Chad Climate Justice Youth Fellowship is open to passionate young Africans between the ages of 18 and 35 who are ready to take action and make a difference in their communities. A total of 20 youth leaders will be selected for this opportunity, and each fellow will receive $1,500 in project funding, along with access to a skills development program, mentorship, global exposure, and networking opportunities with other changemakers and experts in the field.
The fellowship runs for 24 months, and fellows are expected to stay committed and actively engaged throughout the program.

Lake Chad Climate Justice Youth Fellowship Eligibility Requirements
To apply, you must be:
- A citizen of the Lake Chad region (Chad, Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger).
- Be between 18 to 35 years old as of the application time.
