NATO Internship Programme 2025 Details
NATO Internship Programme 2025 is global internship programme which offers a six-month internships opportunities to third-year undergraduate students, recent graduates or master’s degree students to work and gain valuable work experience in a variety of fields ranging from political affairs, defence and security, innovation, operations, communications, business support and human resources, finance, science and technology, and infrastructure and facilities.
The NATO internship programme aims to create a more robust workforce and provide a one-time opportunity for interns to learn from the NATO community, network with other young professionals from Europe and other international organisations at NATO headquarters, Brussels, Belgium. Internship positions are available within the NATO International Staff, the International Military Staff, and NATO agencies and bodies.
This programme is committed to providing career opportunities to eligible interns despite gender, age or nationality. It offers a monthly internship stipend of €1286, covers your travel expenses from your home country to Brussels, 15 days of paid leave within six months of program duration and in-house training programs.

NATO Internship Programme 2025 Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply for the NATO internship:
- Must be 21 years and above at the time of application.
- Must be a citizen of a NATO member country.
- Must have completed at least two years of a university degree and be enrolled in the third year, or be a graduate or master’s degree holder.
- Applicant must be proficient in any of the two NATO official languages: English and French.
Note:
Applicants who can speak other languages have an advantage in being considered for certain assets.
