Yale Peace Fellowship 2026 Details
The Yale Peace Fellowship, organized by the International Leadership Center at Yale University, is a unique leadership program tailored for rising peace leaders from around the world.
Each year, 16 individuals are selected to join a powerful fellowship that offers space to learn, connect, and grow. The 2026 edition will run from January to May, combining in-person events, virtual training, and global exposure.
With today’s world facing increasing conflict, political division, and disinformation, this fellowship seeks to empower people who are already working in communities affected by conflict, helping them gain the tools to navigate these complex realities and build long-term peace.
Fellows will participate in:
- A week-long seminar at Yale University (April 13–17, 2026)
- Bi-weekly virtual learning sessions with experts and peers (January–May 2026)
- An international study trip to the UAE (February 1–5, 2026), where they’ll attend the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity Ceremony, engage with interfaith leaders, and learn from global peacebuilding efforts on the ground.
The program is completely free, and all travel, lodging, and meals are covered.

Yale Peace Fellowship 2026 Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Yale Peace Fellowship, applicants must:
- Be actively working in the field of peace, reconciliation, or conflict resolution
- Have a proven record of leadership and impact
- Be committed to cross-cultural understanding and building bridges in divided communities
- Be fluent in English
- Be available to fully participate in all program components, including:
- Virtual sessions (January–May 2026)
- International study trip to UAE (February 1–5, 2026)
- In-person seminar at Yale University (April 13–17, 2026)
Fellows are selected based on merit, leadership potential, and diversity of perspectives. The fellowship seeks participants from different regions, professions, and cultural backgrounds.
