University of Calabria Scholarships 2026/2027 Details
Università della Calabria is offering early admission to two-year Master’s Degree Programs for non-EU students residing abroad. The selection is based on qualifications only.
For 2026/2027, the university will award 132 scholarships to foreign students enrolled in Master’s programs. Admission assessment includes:
- Evaluation of curriculum vitae and academic qualifications
- Online oral examination
- Language assessment in Italian or English (based on program language)
At least twice the number of available places will be invited for the oral examination. Two merit rankings will be created:
- One for scholarship-funded places
- One for places without scholarship
In case of a tie, the younger candidate will be ranked higher. Successful candidates will receive enrollment instructions by email.

Eligibility Requirements for the University of Calabria Scholarships 2026/2027
- Must be a non-EU citizen residing abroad
- Must hold a university degree obtained abroad
- Degree must be valid for admission to Master’s programs in Italy
- Must apply for only one degree program
- Must meet the admission requirements of the selected program
- Must complete online application and upload required documents
- Must pay €10 application fee via PagoPA by March 30, 2026
For scholarship-funded places:
- Must meet household income thresholds as stated in the call
- Must submit required financial documentation (ISEE Parificato or equivalent certification)

- Register on the Esse3 Portal.
- Log in to the portal.
- Go to Menu → Registrar’s Office → Admission Test.
- Select your chosen degree course.
- Choose the competition titled “CALL FOR EXTRA-EU STUDENTS”.
- Complete the application form and upload the required documents.
- Pay the €10 application fee via PagoPA.
- Submit your application before the deadline.
