GRIPS Summer Research Internship 2026 Details
The GRIPS Summer Research Internship is an international research initiative aimed at bringing together bright undergraduate and graduate students from all nationalities for hands‑on scientific training in China’s leading research institutions. Participating students are placed into active research groups at one of four partner universities: Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in Hefei, Fudan University in Shanghai, or Nanjing University in Nanjing. They work on research projects under faculty supervision.
During the 5–6 week programme, interns attend academic seminars, collaborate with international peers, and explore Chinese culture through organised social activities such as sightseeing, calligraphy classes, tea‑making sessions, hiking, industry visits, and excursions around the Yangtze River Delta. The programme is fully funded, with all major expenses covered, allowing students to focus on research, learning, and cultural exchange.
