General Requirements

  • Have a valid National Identity Number (NIN)
  • Complete NIMC verification before applying
  • Not be a previous beneficiary of the same or lower category of PTDF scholarship
  • Not be receiving another scholarship
  • Apply only for approved courses in public universities

Undergraduate Requirements

To apply for the undergraduate scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a full-time student in a Nigerian public university
  • Be in 200 level (second year)
  • Study a course related to oil and gas, energy, or management
  • Have at least 5 credits in WAEC/NECO/SSCE including English and Mathematics
  • Have a minimum CGPA of 2.4 on a 5.0 scale
  • Provide first-year academic transcripts (signed and stamped)

MSc Requirements

To apply for the MSc scholarship, applicants must:

  • Have admission into a Nigerian public university
  • Have a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) degree
  • Study a course related to oil and gas or management
