How to Apply for Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship 2025 (Step by Step)

To apply for this scholarship, follow these steps:

  1. You must apply for and receive an offer to study a full-time master’s (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham for 2025/26 before applying for this scholarship. Search for courses and find out how to apply.
  2. The University requires an application fee of £50 for postgraduate taught course applications. Please be aware that your academic application will not be assessed until the application fee has been paid and processed.
  3. When you have received your offer to study with us, you can apply through the scholarships section of our application system, NottinghamHub.
  4. If you have an offer for an MRes course, email the scholarships team on [email protected] for instructions on how to apply.
  5. If you have applied for a full-time two-year master’s course, you can apply for this scholarship. However, the scholarship is awarded for one year only. If successful, the scholarship would only be applied to the first year’s tuition fees. You would need to ensure that you have the means to cover any balance in tuition fees.

Applicants will be evaluated primarily on their ability to present a clear vision and a tangible plan for developing a specific solution that addresses key economic, environmental, structural, social, or political challenges in their home country.   • We will assess all scholarship applications before making any awards. You may be offered a scholarship of either 50% or 100% of tuition fees. We will contact you at the end of May 2025 to confirm the outcome of your application.
  • If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to you as a student at the University of Nottingham. We will not pay tuition fee scholarships to you directly.
  • To maximise the reach of the university’s scholarships offering, our international scholarships cannot be combined with other University scholarships.  Where you are awarded multiple scholarships, the single highest-value award will be applied.
