The Scout Adventures Residential Volunteering Programme invites individuals aged 18+ from the UK and around the world to join as activity instructors, supporting outdoor adventure and youth-group experiences at Scout Adventure centres across the UK. Volunteers serve as outdoor activity instructors helping to deliver a variety of activities to youth groups visiting Scout Adventure centres. Volunteers live on-site, with accommodation and meals provided. The programme allows you to work alongside over 100 volunteers from around the world, giving you exposure to diverse cultures and a strong community environment.

Initial training is provided at the start, a practical 5-day induction course (usually at Gilwell Park) to equip you with instructing skills, first aid, safeguarding, and familiarity with centre operations.
