Yale Peace Fellowship 2027 | Fully Funded
The Yale Peace Fellowship, run by the International Leadership Center at Yale University, brings together a small, carefully chosen group of people already doing the hard, unglamorous work of peacebuilding — reconciliation, conflict resolution, community bridge-building — and gives them real space to sharpen their leadership before sending them back into that work. Applications are open now for the 2027 cohort, closing 9 September 2026 at 14:00 EDT. The 2026 cohort has already been selected and announced, so this genuinely is the next real window, not a placeholder date.

About the Fellowship
Around 16 individuals are selected each year to join this leadership programme, built specifically for professionals already working in peace, reconciliation, and conflict resolution — not students pursuing an academic degree. Each cohort is deliberately geographically balanced, bringing together people from different professions, cultures, and regions.
For the 2027 cohort, the programme runs from March to June 2027, combining biweekly virtual sessions with two in-person components:
- A week-long seminar at Yale University, 12–16 April 2027
- A closing international convening at Rose Castle, United Kingdom, 14–18 June 2027
Worth noting if you’re familiar with a previous cohort’s structure: the international convening location has changed. Earlier cohorts, including 2026, travelled to the UAE for the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity Ceremony. The 2027 cohort instead convenes at Rose Castle in the UK — confirm current programme details directly with Yale rather than assuming the UAE component carries forward.
