QuanTEEM Erasmus Mundus Masters Scholarship 2026 Details
The QuanTEEM programme is a two-year master’s degree focused on quantum technologies and engineering.
Students study fundamental physics and its applications in modern technology. The programme combines academic training with international experience. The duration of the programme is two years. During the study period, students must complete at least two physical international mobilities in countries different from their country of residence. The programme is hosted by partner universities in Europe. Teaching and research focus on quantum science, physics, and engineering. The academic year starts in the second week of September 2026.
The QuanTEEM Master’s program is divided into four semesters, with international mobility:
- 1st Semester: Université Bourgogne Europe (UBE), France
- 2nd Semester: Specialisation at either UBE (France) or RPTU (Germany)
- 3rd Semester: Specialisation at either RPTU (Germany) or AU (Denmark)
- 4th Semester: Internship/Master’s Thesis

Eligibility Requirements for the QuanTEEM Erasmus Mundus Masters Scholarship 2026
- Must hold or be in the final year of a bachelor’s degree in Science (180 ECTS) or equivalent
- All applicants, except native English speakers, must provide recent evidence of their proficiency in English through one of the following documents:
- TOEFL: minimum score: 600 points (paper) or 95 points (internet) or 250 (computer-based)
- IELTS: minimum score: 6.5
- Cambridge English First (FCE) – Grade A or B
- Certificate of a University Language Centre testifying that the student masters the necessary knowledge of English to function academically (specify CEF-level / minimum CEF-level B2)
- Must have a strong background in physics
- Skills in mathematics and computer science are an advantage
- Must clearly state the country of residence during the application
- Must be ready to participate in international mobility
- Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
