GIST Global Internship Program 2025 in South Korea Details
The GIST International Internship Program (IPA) is designed to provide real-world research experience to students interested in science, technology, and engineering fields. Through this program, interns will:

GIST Global Internship Program 2025 in South Korea Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the GIST Internship Program, applicants must:
- Be an International Undergraduate Seniors or Master’s Degree student
- Have a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.0 or above (on a 4.5 point scale) or equivalent
- TOEFL iBT 80 or its equivalent on another English Language Proficiency test
*If the students’ nationality is from an English-speaking country or the medium of instruction at their home university is English, they can submit a passport copy or a certificate stating “Medium of Instruction is English” instead of an English language proficiency test score.
Duration and Benefits
Duration
8-Week Laboratory Internship
Interns will engage in hands-on research based on their proposals:
Weeks 1–7: Conduct research and submit a short paper.
Week 8: Submit a draft research poster for the final poster session.
All submitted papers and posters will be published and shared with you, your home university, and your hosting GIST laboratory.
