BBPA National Scholarship 2025 Details
The BBPA National Scholarship Program is an annual initiative by the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA) to support Black Canadian students pursuing post-secondary education. This scholarship program aims to remove financial barriers and help students succeed academically and professionally.
The BBPA, a non-profit organization founded in 1983, has a strong history of advancing equity in business, employment, education, and economic development for Black Canadians. Through this scholarship, BBPA is not just providing funds— it is building futures.

BBPA National Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the BBPA National Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Ethnicity & Status: Must be a Black student who is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person (or in the process of obtaining permanent residency or a student/work visa)
- Education Status: Must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at a recognized Canadian college or university
- Age Requirement: Must be between 17 and 30 years old as of September 2025
- Additional Requirements: Demonstrated academic excellence, financial need, and community involvement
