The Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) Fellowship 2025 (4th cohort) is a fully sponsored leadership and governance program designed to nurture the next generation of young Nigerian leaders who are passionate about public service, governance, and nation-building.

Founded by Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, in collaboration with the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) and other governance institutions. The fellowship equips participants with the right knowledge, skills, and networks to become impactful leaders in governance and the legislative process.

Through a mix of residential training, hands-on internship, and structured mentorship, fellows learn directly from experienced lawmakers, policy experts, and thought leaders within Nigeria’s public sector.
