2026–2027 UM Global Studies Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the UM Global Studies Scholarship, applicants must:

1. Hold nationality from a country eligible for Official Development Assistance (ODA) by the OECD.
2. Meet visa and residence permit requirements for studying in the Netherlands. Check the official website.
3. Not hold dual citizenship with an EU/EEA country or any country not on the ODA list.
4. Have applied for admission to the Global Studies bachelor’s program at UM for the 2026–2027 academic year.
5. Meet the academic admission requirements for the Global Studies program.
6. Not hold a bachelor’s or equivalent degree.
7. Be 35 years old or younger by September 1, 2026.
8. Agree to serve as a Global Studies and UM ambassador during and after studies.
