Eligibility Requirements of the Maastricht University Scholarship 2026
Applicants must:
- Hold nationality in a country outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Suriname.
- Meet visa and residence permit requirements for the Netherlands.
- Apply for a participating full-time master’s programme at UM for the 2026–2027 academic year before 8 December 2025.
- Meet the admission requirements of the chosen programme.
- Have a GPA of at least 7.5/10 (or equivalent).
- Be 35 years or younger on 1 September 2026.
- Have never completed a degree programme in the Netherlands.
- Agree to act as a UM ambassador during and after their studies.
- Submit only one application for the scholarship.
