Julius Berger Nigeria Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- You must be a Nigerian citizen — permanent residents are not eligible
- You must be female
- You must be enrolled full-time in your second year (200 level) at a federal or state university in Nigeria — students in remedial year (year 0) are not eligible
- Your university must be accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) — polytechnics, colleges, and degree-awarding institutions that are not universities do not qualify
- You must be in the Faculty of Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Technology
- You must be studying one of the eligible courses listed above
- You must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point grading scale

If any names differ — due to marriage, a name variation, or a spelling difference — you must upload an affidavit or certificate of name confirmation. - Upload all required scanned documents in the correct formats
- When uploading your photo, use a passport photograph with a white background
- After completing all fields, review your entire application carefully for errors — once submitted you cannot change your information
- Click “Apply Now” to submit
- A confirmation message will appear when your application has been successfully submitted
- Return to https://candidate.scholastica.ng/ and log in to download your profile
- Take the printed profile to your Head of Department for a signature
- Upload the signed and scanned profile back onto the platform

Selection Process for the JBN Female Scholarship Award
Selection happens in stages. After the application deadline, JBN and Dragnet Solutions review all applications for completeness, eligibility, and document accuracy. Only shortlisted candidates are invited to a proctored computer-based test — the test date is communicated by email to shortlisted candidates only. The test is completed online and requires a working webcam, which is compulsory for monitoring and recording purposes. Only a computer can be used — iPads and tablets are not accepted.
Before your test date, check that your computer meets the technical requirements at https://network-test.talview.com/. If the assessment requires a calculator, one will be provided automatically on the test screen.
Final selection considers academic performance, aptitude test scores, and verification of admission and personal details.
Terms of the JBN Scholarship Award
The scholarship is awarded for the full duration of your undergraduate programme and is renewable each year provided you:
- Remain enrolled full-time and make satisfactory academic progress
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale
- Meet the conduct standards of your university and the scholarship award letter
The scholarship cannot be deferred. If you lose the scholarship for any reason, it cannot be reinstated. If you are dismissed from your university for academic reasons, you are no longer eligible. If you withdraw from one course and switch to another within the same Faculty of Engineering, your scholarship is not affected.
