Eligibility Requirements for the NNPC-SNEPCo Postgraduate Scholarship 2026 in the UK
To apply for the NNPC-SNEPCo Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen residing in Nigeria
- Must be between 21 and 28 years old by September 30, 2026
- Must possess a Nigerian international passport valid until at least December 2026
- Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme by September 2026
- Must have obtained or expect to obtain a degree equivalent to a UK Upper Second-Class Honours degree
- Must demonstrate intellectual ability and leadership potential
- Must meet the English language requirements of the chosen university
- Must achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 where required
- Must have secured admission into an eligible course at either the University of Aberdeen or Newcastle University
Applicants are not eligible if they:
- Have previously studied in the UK or another developed country
- Are employees of SNEPCo, Shell Group companies, participating universities, or their close relatives
- Left employment with the above organisations less than five years before the application date
