MTN Foundation Muson Scholarship 2025/2026 Details
The MTNF/MUSON Diploma Course in Music is a fully funded, two-year, full-time programme designed to equip students with high-level training in music. The programme follows a rigorous curriculum patterned after international conservatoire standards, aimed at preparing students for careers in music or further education in music degree programmes.

Every student will take a minor instrument from a different instrumental family for two semesters, along with mandatory choir membership. String majors must join the orchestra, while wind and percussion majors will participate in the band. Students from other areas may also audition for these ensembles.
Please note: For this 2025 cycle, applicants must now possess a valid JAMB result as part of the new admission requirements.

MTN Foundation Muson Scholarship 2025/2026 Eligibility Requirements
To apply, you must meet the following academic and musical requirements:
Academic Requirements:
- Five (5) credits in GCE O’Level or SSCE, including English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Music Requirements:
- Practical Music Certificate: Grade 5 or higher from MUSON or a recognised music body.
- Theory Certificate: Grade 5 or higher from MUSON or a recognised music body.

If you have strong practical skills but lack the theory requirement, you may still be admitted. However, you must take a remedial theory course and pass it during your first year.
