Service Commitments and Bond Requirements

Singapore-based companies include both local firms and international companies with a registered presence in Singapore under the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
- Bond Requirements: There are no specific bond requirements for any category of applicant.

- Await results — successful candidates will be notified and their choice of PhD supervisor, research project, and university will be subject to final approval by A*STAR
- Choose your intake — the scholarship accepts applications for two intakes per year: August (Semester 1) and January (Semester 2)
- Apply for PhD admission at NUS — applicants must concurrently submit their PhD admission application to the National University of Singapore alongside their ACIS scholarship application
- Select your research supervisor — review the list of ASTAR-approved supervisors available on the ASTAR Graduate Scholarship (AGS) webpage under the “Research Areas and Supervisors” tab. If your preferred supervisor is not listed, contact them directly to discuss potential research projects
