To be eligible, applicants must be under 45 years old, possess at least a Second Class Upper degree or CGPA of 3.0, and meet the English language requirements through IELTS, TOEFL, or proof of English-medium instruction. Eligibility Requirements for the MTCP Scholarship 2026/2027 in Malaysia | Fully Funded
To qualify for the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a citizen of an eligible MTCP recipient country
- Must not be more than 45 years old at the time of application
- Must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) degree or CGPA of 3.0
- Must apply for a full-time Master’s degree programme in Malaysia
- Must provide proof of English language proficiency through:
- IELTS minimum score of 6.0, or
- TOEFL iBT minimum score of 60, or
- Proof that previous degree was taught in English
- Must be medically fit and provide a certified medical report
- Must obtain or provide proof of application to an approved Malaysian university
