Eligibility Requirements for the 2026 Erasmus Mundus EMABG Scholarship
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree (minimum 180 ECTS) in Animal Science or a closely related field.
- Applicants with degrees in related disciplines must show strong knowledge in agricultural sciences (chemistry, physics, statistics, zoology, microbiology, genetics, economics) and animal production (nutrition, breeding, husbandry, pasture/crop management).
- English Language Proficiency
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 92 (speaking at least 23)
- IELTS Academic: minimum 7.0 (speaking at least 6.5)
- Cambridge CAE/C1 Advanced: 180–210 (Grade C)
- Cambridge CPE/C2 Proficiency: 180–230 (Grade C)
- Certificates must be issued within 2 years before the application deadline.
- Other Conditions
- Applicants who already hold an MSc in a closely related field may not be eligible at some universities.
- Previous recipients of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) scholarships are not eligible.
- Students from certain English-speaking countries may be exempt from submitting a language certificate, provided their entire degree was conducted in English.
