About the Concordia University Scholarships Programme

Entrance Scholarships

Eligibility for Concordia Entrance Scholarships:

• You must be entering university studies for the first time, based on completion of CEGEP, a Canadian high school or college, or an equivalent qualification
• You must be admitted to a Bachelor’s programme at Concordia
• You must be enrolled full-time
• Visiting students, Independent students, and students admitted to Certificate programmes are not eligible

Selection process for Concordia Entrance Scholarships:

Faculties select candidates during admission processing and provide their recommendations to the Financial Aid and Awards Office. Selection is based on academic ranking and begins in winter, continuing into spring until all awards are filled. Only selected candidates are notified — you will not receive a rejection notice if you are not selected. For Faculty of Fine Arts programmes that require a portfolio for admission, selection is based on the portfolio rather than prior grades.

An offer of admission to Concordia does not guarantee selection for an Entrance Scholarship.

How Entrance Scholarships are paid:

Scholarships are disbursed to your university account after your registration is verified, following the registration and course drop period. Higher value awards are paid in two equal installments across the Fall and Winter terms.
