Mastercard Scholarship 2026 at University of Port Harcourt Details

The TAGDev 2.0 Programme is a 10-year initiative running from 2023 to 2033, implemented by RUFORUM in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation and a network of African universities including the University of Port Harcourt. The programme is designed to strengthen universities and TVET institutions to better serve communities — skilling and empowering Africa’s young people to drive inclusive, equitable, and climate-resilient transformation of agriculture and agri-food systems.

At UniPort, the scholarship supports students in agriculture and agribusiness-related programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The scholarship is renewed annually, subject to satisfactory academic performance at grade B level. Retaking more than four courses will lead to automatic withdrawal of the scholarship.
